Writing
I have extensive experience creating cross-platform educational materials for students and teachers. My credits include a web-based game for middle schoolers that will be soon available on PBS.com, middle-grade and high-school books and graphic novels for Scholastic, marketing materials for Classroom Inc., teacher’s guides for Random House, as well as extensive content for best-selling basal programs and ancillaries.
I also write and edit comics with my husband, cartoonist Josh Neufeld. As a separate-and-together team, we have created comics for print, television, and online.
For my creative writing, I have received fellowships from the Wallace Stegner Creative Writing program at Stanford University, the Provincetown Fine Arts Work Center, and the Corporation of Yaddo.
